THE NORMAL MAPS | MORE DETAILS PREVIOUS PAGE

A normal map contains 3 vectors of information - "X" direction, "Y" direction and "Z" direction.
Thus, each pixel in a normal map encodes which direction that particular point is facing the "normal vector" of the surface.

Each pixel in a normal map has meaningful information, so details can be rendered more crisply than with bump maps alone.

This allows modern rendering engines to more realistically portray the lighting on a surface.

A properly constructed normal map can fool the eye into perceiving much more complex 2D geometry on a simple surface.

TEXTURE MAPS LAYOUT

Changing the individual appearances of the models is very easy using any image editor.

You can change cloth colours or alter texture maps to create new models variations.

RESOLUTION

2048x2048px hi-res texture maps offers a high level of details.

"I was very impressed with the texture mapping layout. It would make changing the individual appearances of the models very easy."

THE POLYGON MESH | GEOMETRY PREVIOUS PAGE

HIGH QUALITY NURBS PATCHES MESH

All our models are hand made.
Polygon mesh was accurately designed to prevent rendering artifacts and permit an optimal deformation during the animation.

Polygon count was balanced to give a good detail quality and at the same time decrease memory usage and render time.

Hands and fingers are fully animable.
Face can be easily animated using Morph maps.

Josh Presseisen, Art Director of Neoscape said:

"There are multiple poses for the models, which are nice to have, and the t-pose is great for animation..."
